The fact that you currently hear nothing of "New Music" in Eckernförde is merely the "calm before the storm."
FOR: Ensemble Reflexion K is turning 25, and this milestone is set to be celebrated in grand style this autumn!

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to two anniversary concerts at St. Nicolai Church in Eckernförde on October 9 and November 13. For these programs, we have curated a veritable fireworks display of contemporary music, spanning a wide variety of styles and eras.

Before and after these events, we will be celebrating with performances at the Weimarer Frühjahrstage and the Warsaw Autumn festivals, at the Kunststation St. Peter in Cologne and the Kunsthalle Rosenheim, at the Microjornadas Córdoba in Argentina, as well as at the Klangwerkstatt Berlin and the Music Academy in Poznań, Poland.

However, before all that takes place, we will be testing out a new venue—the Kapelle am Mühlenberg—for concerts on a more intimate scale. The first concert there will take place on Sunday, May 31, at 5:00 PM, featuring compositions for flute, cello, and electronics. In June, the Duo Reflexion K will then take this very program on tour to the "Weimarer Frühjahrstage." On Wednesday, July 8, at 7:00 PM, our season continues with our summer concert, featuring works for Swedish nyckelharpa, Alpine dulcimer, voice, organ, and cello; finally, on Sunday, September 27, at 5:00 PM, we will bring our program for flute, viola, and electronics—performed just the day before at the Kunststation St. Peter in Cologne—back "home."
